Rome City Schools has continued to work closely with state and local officials as we monitor the impact of Hurricane Helene. At this time, we are planning to have normal operations on Thursday. This includes after-school activities on Thursday unless otherwise noted. Based on the latest information, school operations will be affected on Friday, Sept. 27. In alignment with our Keeping Schools Safe Initiative, Friday will be an Independent Learning Day for all of Rome City Schools. Students and staff don't report to school. They will work from home. There will be no after-school activities on Friday. Please stay safe and remain weather aware during this time.
